Job Description

GreenTech Resources is currently hiring Cabinetmaker (NOC 7272) for our client based in Canada – 01 positions available who is ready to support an LMIA/PNP. GreenTech is a Foreign Worker Recruitment Company based in Regina.

GreenTech Resources is an established recruitment, immigration and settlement company with its Head office in Regina, SK, Canada. Established in 2016, we have our offices in Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Mississauga. GreenTech deals in foreign worker recruitment, settlement and immigration processes.

Responsibilities for Cabinetmaker

  • Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
  • Cutting resources down to size, as needed.
  • Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time.
  • Creating standard and custom components of cabinets.
  • Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.
  • Applying sealant, varnish, and paint to cabinets, if required.
  • Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied.
  • Repairing elements of cabinets that have been sent in for servicing.
  • Wearing the requisite uniform and taking necessary precautions to remain safe.
  • Advising on appropriate care for finished products upon request.

Employment Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is usually required.
  • Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school or college courses in cabinetmaking is usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
  • Trade certification is available, but voluntary, in all provinces and territories.
  • Red Seal endorsement is also available to qualified cabinetmakers upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.
