Job Description
- Use woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools to build or repair cabinets, doors, frames, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings
- Perform repair work and install doors, windows, drywall, closets, stairs and other equipment as needed
- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations
- Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels
- Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Move the required materials within the site as assigned
- Cleans up worksite debris
- Provide excellent customer service
- Can read and follow labels, safety precautions, guidelines
Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- 2-3 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry
- Additional certification may be required
- Hands on experience with appropriate electrical tools
- Completed carpentry apprenticeship
Required Years of experience: 2-3 years
Salary:Â $20.00 – $37.15 / Hour
