Customer Services Representatives – Financial Institutions Jobs in Canada (NOC 64400)

 

Job Description:

  • Arrange meetings with clients to discuss their financial needs and goals.
  • Collect relevant customer information to recommend investment options that are appropriate to the client’s financial circumstances.
  • Monitor market conditions to determine how different changes could affect your taxes and investments.
  • Advising customers on how to apply for mortgages and loans.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage customer retention and referrals. Contact potential customers by phone to inform them of the various financial products and services on offer.
  • Proposing possible solutions to improve the financial situation of the client.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our financial products to advise clients accordingly.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve product or account issues or concerns, such as opening new accounts or transferring funds between accounts.
  • Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals or loan repayments on behalf of customers.
  • Process bank transfers and other complex transactions.
  • Review account statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy of entries.
  • Perform cash handling tasks, such as processing customer payments using automated teller machines (ATMs) or handheld devices.
  • Provide information about banking products and services to potential customers.
  • Process account transactions such as deposits, withdrawals or loan repayments on behalf of customers.
  • Answer questions about account balances and other general customer service inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity and transactions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
  • Appropriate state license.
  • Proven experience as a financial services representative.
  • Have good knowledge of financial law.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Solid math skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.

 

Terms of Employment:

  • Full time
  • Permanent
  • 37.5 to 43 hours per week
  • Day, Evening, Weekend

 

Salary: $14.87 – $18.97 per hour

Required Years of Experience: 1 year to 2 years
