Drywall installer job description NOC (7284)
-Joining drywall boards utilizing tape and mortar.
-Fixing breaks and some other harm to the drywall boards.
-Disguising any defects or uncovered abnormalities in the drywall surface.
-Layering mortar or spackle with scoops to make a level surface.
-Sanding down unpleasant regions on the divider to make a smooth surface.
-Skimming the surface with a last layer of mortar in anticipation of completing work.
-Overseeing and keeping up with all the expected gear to make it happen.
-Keeping your boss side by side of your advancement and detailing any occupation related issues.
-Guaranteeing that all gear and materials are utilized securely and actually.
Drywall installer job requirements NOC (7284)
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience as a drywall finisher.
- Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing.
- Ability to interpret construction blueprints.
- Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines.
- Basic math skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours.
Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent position; daytime, evening, and weekend shifts may be required; between 32-40 hours per week
Salary: $20.00 – 30.00/hour, based on experience and training
Work experience required: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working in a similar setting is required.
