Job Description

GreenTech Resources is currently hiring Heavy-duty equipment mechanics (NOC 7312) for our client based in Canada – 02 positions available who is ready to support an LMIA/PNP. GreenTech is a Foreign Worker Recruitment Company based in Regina.

GreenTech resources are an established recruitment, immigration and settlement company with its Head office in Regina, SK, Canada. Established in 2016, we have our offices in Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Mississauga. Greentech deals in foreign worker recruitment, settlement and immigration processes.

Responsibilities for Heavy-duty equipment mechanics

  • Haul Trucks, Big Trucks, and other heavy equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Inspect, examine and test parts in order to recommend the extent and nature of the work to be done.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components of the equipment systems.
  • May perform repair work on heavy trucks.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure that work detailed on work order has been completed to meet safety standards.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
  • Comply with work safety policies and safety regulations.
  • Service attachments and working tools as required.

Qualification Required

  • College diploma in Heavy Duty Mechanic/Automotive Repair or Heavy Equipment.
  • Certified Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal) Certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years
  • Knowledge of computerized test equipment.
  • The ability to troubleshoot Heavy Duty hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and power-trains is required.
