Job Description:
- Drive to the construction site.
- Test trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment to make sure they are in good working order.
- Diagnose faults by computer testing equipment.
- Adjust equipment and replace defective parts.
- Repair damaged parts of equipment.
- Cleaning, lubrication and routine services on heavy vehicles.
- Carry out major repair work if necessary.
- Consult other mechanics for smaller jobs.
- Report damaged or faulty equipment to management.

Job Requirements:Â
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certificate in Heavy Equipment Mechanics.
- Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Understanding of computer testing technologies.
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Thorough knowledge of diesel engines and construction machinery.
- Able to work overtime if required. Good communication skill.
Terms of Employment:Â Â
- Full-time
- Permanent position
- Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
- 40 to 60 hours per week
Salary:Â $23.00 – $35.00 per hour
