Job Description:

• All maintenance processes and operations are supervised and led.
• Keeping track of spending and supervising the maintenance budget.
• Maintaining all machinery to ensure it is in good operating order.
• Developing and putting in place maintenance processes.
• Inspections of the facilities on a regular basis to find and rectify problems.
• All repair and installation activities must be planned and managed.
• Ensure that all department employees follow all safety regulations and procedures.
• Creating repair schedules and estimating repair costs.
• Maintaining and documenting daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Supervising equipment stock and putting orders for additional supplies as needed.

Facility Operation and Maintenance Managers Jobs in Canada (NOC 70012)

Job Requirements: 

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• It is preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management, or a related subject.
• A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience is required.
• Previous managing experience is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of the technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of facilities, machineries, and equipment.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Terms of Employment: 

• Full time
• Permanent
• Daytime
• 40 hours

Salary: $48.00 – $61.60 per hour

Years of Experience: 5 years of maintenance experience is required
