Job Description

Greentech is currently hiring for the post of ” Sous Chef” for one of the Mexican restaurant chains based in Regina, SK, Canada. ONLY LOCAL CANADA AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN CANADA WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Job description

Reporting to the Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to the following:

* Responsible for kitchen operations

* Maintain and enhance the food products through presentation and creative menu development

* Offer consistently professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues

* Have full knowledge of daily features, promotions and all menus

* knowledge of Mexican food is an asset

* Maintain on-going training and development of staff

* Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs

* Ensure proper scheduling and staffing in according to budget guidelines

* actively interact with guests at tables

* other duties as assigned

Visa requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Oversee kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
