Job Description
- Examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients’ concerns, and answering patients’ questions
- Conducting routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
- Understand patients’ health conditions based on symptoms and tests
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients
- Giving appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
- Prescribe different medical treatments, medications and drugs
- Updating patients’ charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
- Collaborate with other physicians and team members
- Complying with medical laws (for example, HIPAA)
- Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars
Job Requirements
- A medical degree and the successful completion of a residency and internship
- Proven experience as a physician
- A state license and certification to practice medicine
- In-depth knowledge of examination procedures, methodologies and diagnostics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
- Outstanding patient management skills
- Dexterity and detail oriented abilities
- The ability and willingness to stay up to date on advancements, innovations, and developments in the field
Required Years of experience: 5 Years or more
