Job Description

  • Work manual or self-loader fire cutting hardware
  • Work brazing and patching gear
  • Work metal forming machines like brakes, shears and other metal fixing and bowing machines
  • Fix worn pieces of metal items by welding on additional layers.
  • Welders might represent considerable authority in specific sorts of welding like custom manufacture, transport building and fix, aviation accuracy welding, pressure vessel welding, pipeline development welding, primary development welding, or hardware and gear fix
  • To plan layouts, interpret measurements, sketches, and blueprints.
  • Weld pipes, beams, and small and large pieces of copper plumbing.

Welders and Related Machine Operators Jobs in Canada (NOC 7237)

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A welder with at least 2 years of experience.
  • A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of manual tools, electrical equipment, and welding equipment.
  • Capacity to read and comprehend plans and blueprints.
  • Exceptional focus on the details.
  • Trade certification is compulsory in Alberta and available, but voluntary, in all other provinces and territories.
  • Red Seal endorsement is also available to qualified welders upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.
