The Canadian province of Saskatchewan held a draw for its SINP Entrepreneur Category on September 19, 2018.

Saskatchewan issued 71 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to entrepreneurs.

The candidates were from the SINP Express of Interest (EOI) pool. In this draw, the average EOI score was 115. The lowest score that was invited was 110, while the highest was 135.

What is EOI?

EOI serves as ‘pre-application’ in SINP. Candidates have to answer questions based on work experience, education and proficiency in English or French, etc.

What is Saskatchewan’s Entrepreneur Category?

This category is for candidates who wish to establish, acquire or partner in a business in Saskatchewan that meets specified provincial criteria.

In order to be nominated in this category, candidates have to go through 3 steps:

Step 1: Candidates must submit EOI profile to the SINP

Step 2: The candidate will be issued an ITA if their profile is found eligible and meets the required score.

Step 3: Once the candidate satisfies the conditions of the Business Performance Agreement, they can apply for PR to SINP.
